BondorNZ Panels: Superior Insulation and Strength

BondorNZ panels are at the heart of our homes, providing excellent insulation and structural integrity. These panels are designed to keep your home warm in winter and cool in summer, all while maintaining a strong, lightweight structure that simplifies transportation and installation.  The raw material used contains a fire retardant and is completely recyclable.

  • Thermal Efficiency: Keeps energy costs low by maintaining a consistent indoor temperature.
  • Soundproofing: Reduces external noise, creating a peaceful living environment.
  • Lightweight Yet Strong: Easy to transport and install, without compromising on strength
  • Seismic performance: The lightweight modular nature of Bondor panel produces minimal lateral loading during an earthquake. The panel’s high bracing capacity and high strength steel facings, comfortably accommodates the force.

Design Windows

Design Windows is one of the South Islands leading aluminium door and window manufacturers. Established in 1984 they have 40 years experience in aluminium joinery with strong relationships within the building industry. Design Windows proudly represents AGP Glass, recognized as New Zealand’s top-performing double glazing. The AGP System stands out for its exceptional performance, utilizing the finest components and cutting-edge technology available in the country.

  • Architectural Thermal Spacer (ATS) is a warm-edge spacer designed to separate the two glass panes in your double-glazed windows and doors. It forms an airtight seal that optimizes the retention of argon gas within the AGP System, ensuring superior thermal performance.
  • Argon gas is an invisible, inert gas used as an insulator in double glazing. It creates an extra barrier to minimize heat loss during winter and reduce heat gain in summer, thereby enhancing the overall thermal performance of your windows and doors.
  • Bonded to glass and secondary sealant – A continually evolving formulation used to ensure durable bonding between glass panes. This creates an airtight seal for the space between panes, providing additional protection for the primary seal.
  • Solux-E® is a virtually invisible low emissivity (Low-E) coating applied to the inside surface of the exterior glass pane. This coating significantly enhances insulation in the home by reducing heat loss through the glass during winter and limiting overheating in the summer.

Our Commitment to Quality

Every home we build is a testament to our commitment to quality and durability. By sourcing materials locally, we’re able to maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring that your home is constructed to the highest standards.
